Sean Clute Teaching
Sean Clute is currently an Assistant Professor of Fine and Performing Arts in Digital Arts at Johnson State College. Since starting in 2010, Clute has created a number of courses including Intro Digital Media, Video, and Intermedia. To see sample syllabi click here. He has also helped to create three computer/media labs including the Media Arts Research Studio (MARS), Mars-X, and Mini-Mars as well as a Black Box Theater (ironically painted white). In 2012 he created the first BFA in Media Arts for the Vermont State Colleges. Dedicated to student achievement in higher education in all things media (see teaching philosophy) as well as ensuring access to achievers from all backgrounds (see multicultural statement), Clute continues to develop the Media Arts program in rural Vermont while occasionally attempting x-country skiing.
